I just happened upon the mention of this DVD series today – Why Quilts Matter : History, Art & Politics – a nine-part documentary series by the Kentucky Quilt Project, Inc.  The entire series is available for purchase on the Why Quilts Matter website but you can watch Episode 8 on youtube for free – an entertaining and informative 25 minutes!

April 26, 2012 – General Meeting – Speaker

Our April speaker is  Garnet Smalley, the man responsible for bringing various quilts from across the ocean to our native Canada, will come and regale us with stories and quilts. He promises not to disappoint.
